My Candles

I came up with the idea of creating my business whilst I was in maternity leave with my son. I am a huge fan of candles and I decided to find out what was involved in the making of them. I was shocked to doscover the amount of chemicals involved in my favourite candles and researched everywhere and everything to see whether there was a more safe way of creating candles without all of the harsh chemicals.
I firstly created soy candles but soon discovered that the process of growing soy plants is damaging to the environment. I finally settled on coconut wax blended with rapeseed wax which is completely sustainable and free of harsh chemicals. I choose my fragrances carefully and I cannot tell you how many tests burns I have got through to get to this point!
